Product Approvals Engineer

About the Role:

This position is responsible for providing technical guidance and support on all matters relating to global
product compliance. Working closely with product design teams and key stakeholders across the
business from early development through to start of production and beyond, ensuring products comply
with global product standards, supporting a ‘design for compliance’ approach.

About the Role:

Due to business growth and product expansion, we are seeking experienced Product Designers & Senior Product Design Engineers to join our Research and Development Team. You will study, research, design and develop ideas for new products and the systems used to make them, as well as modify existing products to increase efficiency or improve performance.


Our R&D team are a fast-paced team that are constantly updating and working with new technologies to ensure our products are up to date and offer the best solutions possible to our diverse customer base. Customer Service Contact Centre Trainer

About the Role:

The Contact Centre Trainer will be responsible for defining a structured learning journey for the Customer Engagement Team; to continue ongoing development. You will build a dedicated training resource that is focussed on improving the skillsets of the Customer Engagement Team.

You will plan your own work to meet set objectives and will work proactively and reactively, implementing activities to drive excellence in departmental training and be accountable for carrying out a variety of tasks ensuring relevant records are up to date and all administrative processes work effectively.

Providing specialist technical advice to junior and middle management, you will have responsibility for ensuring projects are completed on time and to the highest of standards.

Field Service Engineer / Demonstrator

About the Role:

This role is working for Numatic International in Chard, Somerset. However, you will be home based. Ideally, we are looking for people to join our team from Bedfordshire and surrounding areas.

The Floorcare Demonstrator Engineer is accountable for providing pro-active day to day field support for the Floorcare equipment range to new and existing customers by:

• Ensuring machines are fit for use (servicing and maintenance)
• Demonstrating the benefits and capabilities of the Numatic International Floorcare range to ensure machines are appropriate for the application (supporting the achievement of sales) whilst providing new user training on a chosen site.

You will be responsible for identifying appropriate support solutions for end users with minimal supervision to ensure customer needs are fully understood and efficiently met, including the benefits of Numatic International’s Service Level Agreement (SLA) schemes. Tasks will include direct communication with customers and the Field teams, both verbal and written whilst updating and accurately maintaining a customer database.

Working hours will predominantly be Monday to Friday, however there is a requirement to be part of the on-call rota for weekends and bank holidays.

The Sales Operations Advisor will be responsible for providing internal administrative support across the sales operation and to new and existing customers.

The Sales Operations Advisor will carry out a diverse range of semi-routine tasks, whilst providing a focused and professional service, completing all tasks to a consistent, high-quality standard. Demonstrating prioritisation, flexibility,
and problem-solving skills with little supervision, whilst contributing to the commercial growth of the business. Act as a liaison with internal and third-party stakeholders.

Numatic International brand acting proactively, whilst working in an office-based environment. The Sales Operations Advisor will contribute to the work of the department and undertake a variety of sometimes difficult procedures that will support continuous improvement and contribute to the work of the department whilst supporting the celebration of local successes.

Manufacturing Operations Team Leader

About the Role:

The Team Leader will oversee a designated area of the operations function as a support to the Supervisor, managing specific tasks and activities as delegated, including the direct organisation and supervision of day-to-day operations activities and resources to meet departmental targets and objectives, and the identification, resolution and escalation of problems and issues. This is a varied role requiring initiative, discretion, and judgement and at times you may deal with difficult situations that arise. You will work to support the smooth running of the department and the continuous improvement of safety, quality, and productivity key performance indicators (KPIs) in the operational business.

About the Role:

The Health & Safety Officer will work cohesively within a dedicated team to oversee and co-ordinate the safety of staff, contractors, and visitors to our large manufacturing production site. The role is varied and interesting and will require a hands-on approach in advising and developing best health and safety practice. You will be pro-active in promoting a strong safety culture and ensuring that our high company standards and legal compliance is maintained.

Maintenance Engineer

About the Role:

We have an opportunity for someone to join our Maintenance Team, as part of this team you will be responsible for servicing machinery, equipment, systems and infrastructures as well as to attend to breakdown maintenance of engineering equipment or plants using discretion and independence.

The Maintenance Engineer will ensure that industrial machinery and equipment runs smoothly and reliably. It is vital that maintenance is conducted on time and to the highest of standards for the Operations departments to run efficiently.

This role will be on a day shift working 07:30 – 16:15 Monday – Thursday and 07:30 – 12:30 Friday

Granulation Room Operative - Double Days

About the Role:

Hours of work: 07:30 – 16:15 (Monday to Thursday)  07:30 – 12:30 (Friday)

To work as part of a small team granulating plastic mouldings and sprues.

The ideal candidate will be sustainability focused and will strive to ensure no reusable plastic leaves
site. You will be responsible for the moving of granulated plastic once the load is full, although a forklift
license would be an advantage this can be trained on site.

This position is a lone working role and as such you will be self-motivated. The role will be responsible
for increasing the granulation of plastics on site for re use within existing builds in line with our
sustainability commitments.

Intellectual Property Paralegal / Manager

About the Role:

We are actively seeking a skilled and experienced individual for the position of Intellectual Property (IP) Paralegal / manager. This role is tailored to someone with a background in engineering or science, possessing substantial expertise in intellectual property (IP) and the broader IP landscape or graduates with 2-3 years experience who have completed an approved intellectual property course.

The Studio / media apprentice will be at the centre of producing video and photography content in a fast-moving studio and location environment. Duties will include pre-production in planning for shoots, assisting in production, (lighting, set dressing etc) and postproduction using latest editing systems and software. You’ll be creating content that is key to promoting our business in the UK and internationally across Exhibition, e-commerce and social media platforms.

You will also have exposure to the wider media & marketing dept when required.

During the course of your apprenticeship, you will undertake a Level 3 qualification in Digital and Creative media as well as learn on the job, this will involve some College engagement.
